Warning!!!!!! Lots of pics and a loooooooong post!!!

And finally I have some time to post!!

And it is going to be a loooooooooongs one!!!!

i'll be posting a lot of photo's the next 2 months, my dad is out of the country for so I can keep him updated!!!

First Sinterklaas!!!

We celebrated that at school and here are the pics!!!

I saw on Jeanet's blog that some of you where wondering why we paint our faces black!!

Sinterklaas has some helpers called black Piet they are a part of the tradition ,don't know where that came from to be honest but I guess it goes a long way back in time!!

You also see the boys open their Suprises, they draw a name of one of their classmates and make them something nice (mostly about something that happened this year or something they like to do), than they hide a little present in it!!!

Rick got a tennisracket and Finn a t.v with his fave soccerteam (Ajax) on it!!!

We also celebrated Rick's birthday (wich was August 24th, I know waaaaaaaay to late I should be ashame of myself, bad mom!!!) with his friends!!

We let them play games in his room, maked them some fast food and took them to the theatre to see Christmas Carol (that was actually a little scary, especially at the end, the spirit of Christmasses yet to come was EEEEKKKKK!!!)

Look at the cool 3d glasses, don't they look awesome hahahaha!!!!

And of course we also celebrated Sinterklaas at home with my brother and Sister and my parents in law!!

And wow the kids where nervous, my goodness they where all over the place and couldn't sit still for a sec!!! But they all got want they wanted (how does he know that??)

and had a great time and that's what's most important!!!!!

On the photo you see Rick and Sjors 3 years ago at Christmas, we got Sjors Dec 24th, the best gift ever!!!!!

This one is for the Januari GT challenge, we had to use a sketch, 3 different lines of paternpaper and 3 groups of 3 different embellies!!

The musicsheet is from October Afternoon (gigngerbread)

The black with the polkadots is from 7 gypsies (Manresa)

The rest of the paper is from Making Memories (Mistletoe)

I am not really the embelies kind of girls. so I am calling my stamps and liquide pearle an embellishment, hope I was alowed to do that!!!:(

On the photo you see Rick in the skihall he went to with my brother!!!

The title says, This X-mas, we will have snow!!!

This is Finn when he was 3 years old, he is standing on a huge straw man in the Efteling (a Dutch themepark) on Christmasday!!!

When my mom died my parents in law thought it was to difficult for me to celebrate Christmas with the whole fam together so they took us to the Efteling that first Christmas and a tradition was born!!

I made Finn that Santasuit and he looooved it, there where even people taking pictures of him, he looked so cute!!!!

A lot of work and hubby thinks I am obsessed????!!!

And December is almost here!!! I love December it's the greatest month of the year and not only cause my b-day is this month (that isn't really something to look forward to anymore hahaha)!! But I love Sinterklaas (although the boys don't believe anymore), Christmas and New Years eve!!

And I know it's also the busiest moth of the year, starting THIS WEEK!!!!

On a Wednesday I am baking kruidnootjes (like little cookies for Sinterklaas) with the whole school!!!!!!

Friday we celebrate Sinterkaas at school, so I have to help till 14:00, after that Rick's party (wich we should do last week but my poor baby got really sick, happy to say he is doing so much better now) And the next day my brother and sister with kids and husbands and my parents in law are comming over to celebrate Dec 5th!!!!

Oh and I have to finish 2 suprises (the dutchies know what I mean, I'll show you when I am done cause it is difficult to explain!!!)

And Sunday I am finally gonna set the tree!!!!

I guess you will be just as busy right now, but............

This is Finn at the Sinterklaas celebration at school, he was so exitded!!!

The title is in Dutch and means His heart beats full of expertation, it's a line form a song!!

I made this from wrapping paper, I cut out images and torn it up!!

I also did some other challenges!!

This one is for the Papercut they are all about Twilight and want to know on wich team you are and make you LO HOT!!

Well I am on team Edward, duh!!!

Hubby thinks I am insane and I am not aloud to show this to his friends so I threatened to post it on his hyves (something like facebook) so all his soccerfriends could see it hahahahaha!!!

Julie did you noticed I used Edwards packaging material !!!???


And this one is for the cardsketch over at Scrappy Thursdays!!
A cardsketch and I am so not a cardmaker!!
I looked through a cardmagazine (yes I do buy them sometimes, I always thought I should make more cards only to use all my scraps, but I never do) for some inspiration and found a card with this theme and I loved it so much that I used the same theme but with completely different colors (the card was in bl&wh)




And I made some Christmas boxes for the boys teachers, I am going to fill them with candy, wrap them up in foil and attach the labels!
Love how they turned out!!!

YAK and YEAH!!!!!

First I want to thank all of you for voting, really appreciate that you took some time to help!!!

Today is a stormy and rainy day again, it is'nt really cold but very wet!!

I don't feel that well and had a bad night!!!!! YAK!!!!

But when I opened my mail this morning Julie told me I won Scrapping the Music, YEEEEAAAHH!!!

And after that my SIS sent me such a sweet mail (SNIF)!!!

So that really made my day!!

My Goodness it's SATURDAY already???!!!

It's unbelievable how fast the time goes lately, before I know it another week is gone!!

Doesn't mattter only a few weeks to go before we go to Austria!!!!!

This week I got my first Christmaspresent!!!!

YAY it was from Julie and look what she sent me!!!!!

Thanks again Julie, you know you made my day!!!

But of course he is my fave!!!!!!!!

Isn't he GORGEOUS!!!! (DH said you gilrs are insane)

But I looooooooooove him!

And so does the boys, Edward already got into a very nasty fight with Action Man, but hey of course Edward won!!

After that he ran into an enormous wherewolf, and he almost lost his head (so I had to help out a little)

And now he has a beautiful place on my bedsidetable (so sad according to DH, pffft)

But of course I also did some scrapping, here is my take on this weeks challenge over at Scrapping the music!!

This my sweet sister on her weddingday!!!

Yep no weddingdress, party and all, they didn't want all that!!

We all went to the cityhall and after that we had cake in a resaurant, it was very nice!!!
